At Triciclos Canarias we continue to strive to unite design, local talent and cycling culture. Proof of this is the jersey design contest that we promote together with the Tenerife School of Art and Design (EASD), one of the most prestigious academic institutions in the archipelago in artistic and design training. The result: an exciting project that connects creativity, industry and the cycling community.

The winner, Miriam Borrero, had the opportunity to visit the headquarters of Gobik Wear, one of the world's most recognized brands in technical cycling equipment. Located in Yecla, Murcia, Gobik has revolutionized cycling clothing design, proudly donned by professional teams such as the Movistar Team, he UAE Team Emirates or the INEOS Grenadiers.

A unique experience from within

The visit to the Gobik factory was part of the contest prize. There, Miriam was able to learn first-hand about the process of creating the jerseys, from digital design to final manufacturing, passing through the areas of cutting, sublimation, sewing and quality control. An inspiring tour that showed how the passion for cycling and design materializes in products that make a difference on the bicycle.

Canarian talent that transcends borders

This project not only celebrates creativity, but also reinforces the role of Canary Tricycles as a platform for the dissemination of cycling, local design and valuable collaborations. Supporting initiatives like this helps us strengthen a more conscious, sustainable and connected cycling community.

The winning jersey, created by Miriam Borrero, is already in the production phase and very soon it will be available exclusively in our store. A garment that unites technique, aesthetics and soul.
