A full off-road immersion in the thick forest crown on the northwest of Tenerife. The tour begins at San José de Los Llanos, a small village located just 30 minutes from the shop in Las Americas.
A short leg warm-up on the road and we dive into some fun gravel paths through panoramic trails over the north coast toward “La Orotava Valley”.
Covering 56 km and around 1,100 meters of climbing, this route features consistent, raw climbs surrounded by the Canarian pines. As we approach the north slopes of Mt. Teide, the landscape grows even more impressive.
After reaching the high points, we turn back, swapping terrain from rocky to smooth red soil and then over the black sand of the natural reserve of Volcano Chinyero and finally descending back to San José, where we can enjoy some traditional food and drink at some local spot and finally drive back to Las Americas.
