Teno Alto, located in the center of the “Macizo de Teno” from which it takes its name, is a remote town famous for its goats and excellent cheeses known throughout the world.
A challenging and complete tour that leads us to discover one of the least known but one of the most fascinating areas of the island.
We will leave Erjos, from where we will start pedaling along a beautiful dirt road that crosses the “Monte del Agua” descending for 10 km until we reach Las Portelas, from where we will begin the ascent, first on a rural road and then on asphalt for the last few 3 km until reaching “Teno alto”.
After having visited the plateau we will make a stop for a tasting of the typical products of the area. The return will be by asphalt for 5 km to the town of “Palm Mar” from where we will take the “Monte del Agua” track again, enjoying the beautiful climb immersed in the forest that will lead us to Erjos, the arrival point of our route.
