Around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape horizontal.

Waist

Around your natural waist, usually just above the navel.

Hips

Around the widest point of your hips and seat.

Inseam

Barefoot, stand against a wall with a book firmly between your legs. Measure from the floor to the top edge.

These tables are approximate reference measurements, not a guarantee of fit. Fit preference matters too: choose the neater size for a streamlined feel or allow extra room for relaxed movement and layering. Shoes

Measure both feet

Measure both feet

Cycling shoes should hold the foot securely without crushing the toes. Measure while standing, preferably late in the day, and use the larger result if your feet differ.

  1. Foot lengthPlace paper against a wall. Stand with your heel lightly touching the wall, mark the end of your longest toe, then measure from the wall edge to the mark.
  2. Forefoot widthWhile bearing your normal weight, mark the widest points across the forefoot and measure straight between them. Width can be as important as length for comfort.

Use the millimetre result as your starting point, then check the sizing advice on the individual shoe. Brand shapes, socks and preferred fit can change the best choice.

How to measure yourself and your bike

Your height and inseam help us recommend a frame. Measurements from a bike you already ride comfortably help us reproduce your position much more accurately.

How to measure yourself and your bike

Your rider measurements

Height

Stand barefoot with your back against a wall and measure floor to crown.

Inseam

Barefoot, stand against a wall with a book firmly between your legs. Measure from the floor to the top edge.

Your current bike

A — Saddle-to-bar distance

Measure horizontally from the saddle nose to the handlebar reference line.

B — Saddle height

Measure from the centre of the bottom bracket to the top of the saddle, following the seat tube.

C — Handlebar height

Stand the bike upright on level ground and measure vertically from the floor to the top of the handlebar.

Frame label

Record the labelled size, brand, model and year. A “54” is not identical across brands.

For the best setup, send us your height, inseam and these three bike measurements when ordering or arranging collection.
