The Sram Absolute Black Narrow Wide direct mount chainring is a very good solution for those who want to switch to a 1X9 – 1X10 or 1X11 speed single chainring type system and who have cranks with chainrings that mount directly on the crank (without a star). This version is only compatible with cranks with short BB30 axles
The narrow/wide tooth design provides very good chain retention with improved performance and allows you to opt for a 1X9 – 1X10 or 1X11 single chainring system without having to install a chain guide, although some riders prefer to install a top guide or a chainring guard. The Absolute Black plate has been selected by Marek Konwa and Maja Wloszczowska!
