The SRAM Red AXS 12v 114 links chain has been designed from the ground up. Its unique flat surface shape allows the chain to be narrower and lighter. The resulting greater distance from the outer plates to the sprockets makes the chain run smoother and shifts even more precise. As a positive side effect it also increases the life of the chain. This is also ensured by a chrome coating on the inside of the lugs and wheels.
