With the help of the AeroCoach team, the new SEKA Spear RDC has been tested in the wind tunnel at the Silverstone Sporting Hub in the United Kingdom. Thanks to rigorous testing, the Spear has been optimized for aerodynamics and lightness.
The SEKA Spear is not only more aerodynamic than its predecessor, the SEKA Exceed, saving 6 watts, but it also outperforms the Specialized Tarmac SL8 in controlled test facilities.
Wind Eye design.
The new and exclusive Wind Eye, developed by the SEKA team, helps the Spear stand out and outperform its competitors. The Wind Eye reduces an additional 2.66 watts at 40 km/h compared to frames without this design. It also helps reduce vibrations on your adventures, offering a more comfortable driving experience.
Impressive weight.
The Spear reaches an incredible weight at only 685 grams in its M version. 350 pieces of carbon fiber are cut for its specific purpose. After numerous iterations, the SEKA team discovered that the combination of TeXtreme and Pitch-based ultra-high modulus carbon fiber offered the best result.
Fully integrated SEKA Rapier handlebar (Included with the frame!).
Designed especially for the SEKA Spear, the Rapier handlebar integrates perfectly with the frame. Its 5.2% increase in stiffness and 20 gram reduction compared to the SEKA Exceed Gen 2 bars make it a worthwhile upgrade.
