With the RED XPLR crankset, suitable for 12- and 13-speed drivetrains, gravel riders can also enjoy SRAM’s extremely light and stiff carbon crank arms. Being a model Wide, with a longer tree and a correspondingly wider chainline, is ideal for frames that allow for greater tire clearance and therefore for those cyclists who prefer to ride on unpaved trails. While the stable chainring offers perfect chain management thanks to the design X-SYNC™, the proven technology DUB™ contributes to greater durability of the entire system.
The Powermeter version of the RED XPLR crank makes tracking your Gravel progress not only easier, but also much more accurate. To get the most out of your training, performance data is recorded on both sides. Furthermore, the technology MagicZero Continuously monitors strain gauge torque signals and automatically recalibrates the power meter while you continue pedaling. The result: values with an accuracy of /- 1.5%, which are not affected by weather conditions. And thanks to the well-known AXS wireless technology, pairing and setup are also intuitive and reliable as usual. The spider-based potentiometer uses the system Thread Mount of SRAM to attach the replaceable chainring, which keeps the weight down without compromising the rigidity and reliability of the chainring.
