- MaxxSpeed rubber compound (Single Compound)
- Tubeless Ready casing with EXO sidewall protection
- Wide Trail (WT) construction adapted to wide tires
MaxxSpeed | This rubber compound is a High Silica Single Compound ideal for XC racing. More grip even in wet conditions and a 25% reduction in rolling resistance compared to the legendary 3C MaxxSpeed triple rubber compound allow tires equipped with MaxxSpeed technology to achieve higher speeds and, consequently, faster lap times.
EXO Protection | This extremely cut and abrasion resistant material protects the sidewall of various MTB and Gravel tire models. This is a very dense fabric, but extremely light and flexible to ensure that the tires continue to perform well and convincingly.
Tubeless Ready (TR) | Tubeless tires have many advantages. Rolling with less air pressure improves traction and rolling resistance is also lower than with inner tubes. Additionally, the risk of punctures is greatly reduced by using a sealant instead of a tube, as small holes are immediately resealed.
Wide Trail (WT) | Traditional tires were developed for narrow rims, so they are too angular on wide rims and can therefore no longer offer optimal performance. In contrast, Maxxis’ Wide Trail design is based on a tread layout and tire shape tailored to modern rims. The WT tires are optimized for 30 mm rims, but also perfectly demonstrate their advantages with an inner rim width of up to 39 mm.
