Teno Alto, located in the middle of the “Teno massif” from which it takes its name, is a remote village famous for its goats and excellent cheeses. Our tour starts from Erjos, from where we will begin to pedal along a beautiful dirt road that crosses the “Monte del Agua”, descending for 10 km until we reach Las Portelas, from where we will begin an ascent. First through a rural path and then on a small asphalt road for the last 5km until we reach “Teno alto” where we will stop for a drink and the possibility to taste typical products from the area. The way back will be by asphalt road to the village of “Palmar” for 7km from where we will take the “Monte del Agua” track again, enjoying the beautiful climb immersed in the forest that will lead us to Erjos, the arrival point of our route.
